Our Gardens

South Surrey Community Garden


VW White Rock turned to CGR in 2021 to transform their 9,000 sq. ft. under-utilized lot into a thriving garden. Today, this partnership continues to feed families, foster community, and showcase VW’s commitment to environmental and social impact.
- Built in one day with 50 volunteers and over 100 seedling donations
- 86 raised garden beds on site
- Feeding 25 families
- Accessible for student engagement. 10 min walking distance from Jessie Lee Elementary
East Broadway Community Garden

The East Broadway Community Garden was built with Sprout Box in 2024. Sponsored by a local realtor, CGR transformed 12,100 sq. ft. of urban space into an easily accessible garden for local residents.
- 26 raised garden beds on site
- Feeding 39 families
- Hosted 4 community events this past year
- All garden members live within 2km walking distance to the garden.
