This project has been supported through the Whole Foods Market Foundation, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, and the Neighbourhood Matching Fund program of the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Community Garden Roots/Public Health Association of BC, Cedar Cottage Food Network, and Lu’Ma Medical Centre Society.
The Medicine Wheel Garden is a sacred space and educational site, growing Indigenous foods and medicines. It is located on the western side of Trout Lake, close to the Trout Lake Community Centre playground on the ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil Waututh) Nations.
